The Calder Divide Trail is a multi-day long distance circular route across 12 valleys, 6 moors, and 1 floodplain in West Yorkshire. You will ride along the watershed of the River Calder, from ancient bridleways across the Pennine moors to new gravel paths in the Southern Washlands and on through the center of small towns Hebden Bridge and Marsden. There are no mountain peaks or broad forests on the route but you’ll ride through bridleways, causeways and greenways between “the green moss and the purple heather”.
