Badlands is an unsupported ultracycling gravel challenge across the only deserts in Europe, the wild coast of Cabo de Gata, and the highest Col in the continent, Pico Veleta at 3.396m. The event will take place in Eastern Andalusia, a unique place in Europe where its only deserts meet deep forests, the Mediterranean coast, and its highest mountain pass.
It is not a race: Badlands is a personal challenge that you must complete from the start to the finish line. If you abandon the route for any reason, you must restart from where left off.
