Gravel del Fuego offers 2 distance options:
- Ultra Race, 1047 km long with 6,5 days to complete it, starts off in the city of Puerto Natales taking you to the Torres del Paine National Park (8th wonder of the world). Then, the route progresses along the Argentine border and the Pali Aike National Park, home to a collection of volcanoes that were active 15 thousand years ago. Crossing the Strait of Magellan by barge and climbing the historic Cordon Baquedano, rich in gold mining heritage, are integral parts of the experience. The route continues with a visit to the impressive King Penguin Park, exploration of the Cameron Ranch, crossing the Pampa Guanaco, and visiting Lago Blanco. Finally, you will visit the Darwin Range, stepping on the end of the official road in Caleta María.
- Sprint Race, 252 km in one day, takes you through the Torres del Paine, the Almirante Nieto hill, the Cuernos del Paine and the majestic Paine Grande. You will see the end of the Southern Ice Fields with the Grey Glacier, pass through Villa Serrano and the Milodon Cave before arriving at the Plaza de Armas of Puerto Natales.
